Signs Of Cocaine Use

Knowing the major signs of cocaine use will help you in determining whether or not someone you know is using the drug. Since it is a very addictive drug, and since it is going to consume the user's life in many ways, the most obvious signs of cocaine use are going to be those relating to their ability to function, get through the day, and concentrate during the course of the day. Some other signs to look out for include lack of attention, difficulties in breathing, inability to put together concrete thoughts, and the drifting away from family members and friends, for no apparent reason at all. If you notice any of these signs of cocaine use, or any other differences in those you love (who you believe may be using drugs), you have to confront them immediately. The sooner you talk to them, and inquire as to the use, the sooner it is that you are going to be able to help them with their addiction.

Although not all users are going to accept the help, for the majority, by having family and friends who care, and want to help them, they are going to accept the help with open arms, especially if they catch the use prior to it getting too deep. The earlier you catch it, and the sooner you confront the user, the easier it is going to be to get them to agree to talk to you, and to agree to accept the help that you are offering to them; if you allow it to get too far out, they are going to start pushing you away, or may not be as willing to accept the help that is being offered to them by those who are closest to them, and want to see them get past the addiction that they are dealing with. So, if you do notice any of the many unusual signs of cocaine use, you have to confront the individual, in order to get them to listen.

Although there will be different things to look out for, and different signs of cocaine use for each person, some of the signs are going to be common amongst all users, and amongst all drug abusers in general. So, keeping those in mind, and knowing how to spot the strange changes, and the many signs of cocaine use you have to look out for, is the only way to ensure you are going to be able to help those who are closest to you.

It is possible to help, and to get those who are using drugs, past that addiction. But, as soon as you notice the signs of cocaine use, and as soon as you see the changes in personality and attitude, you have to step in and talk to the person. By coming in sooner rather than later, they will listen, and they are more likely going to accept the help you are willing to extend their way, when you see them struggling.
